Our Team

Jerry Rubin

As founder and financial advisor of J.G. Rubin Financial Services, Jerry provides clients with a range of specialized comprehensive financial guidance for investments, retirement, and estate planning, as well as other wealth management needs. Jerry started J.G. Rubin Financial Services in 1988 with the goal of offering a local, independently owned alternative to large, traditional brokerage firms.

Jerry earned his BA from Northeastern University. He began his career in financial planning at IDS/American Express, where he worked for three years until starting his own independent firm.

  • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNING™ practitioner
  • FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, and 63 securities registrations
  • Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) from American College
  • Certified Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®) from American College

Jerry and his wife, Gayle, reside in Carver, Massachusetts, with their dog Brutis. They have four children and two grandchildren. In his spare time, Jerry enjoys golf, playing guitar, exercising, and reading.

Gayle M. Rubin

Gayle has been with J.G. Rubin Financial Services since 2000. She manages the day-to-day operational functions of the firm, including document preparation, marketing, and client communications. Gayle is the primary liaison with clients.

In addition, Gayle originates mortgages and prepares 1040 tax returns through her own entity, Gayle M. Rubin, which is separate and unrelated to Commonwealth Financial Network®.

In her spare time she likes to play tennis, garden, and spend time with her grandbabies.
